Creatives for the Basketball Bundesliga, the World Dance Championships, as well as for social media and DOOH
PSD Bank is using AI-generated video for perimeter advertising, DOOH and social ads
The common thread: whenever a new video format was needed at short notice, we delivered it – generated by AI, in the appropriate corporate design and precisely tailored to every playback format.
Social media and DOOH campaign for a PSD Bank financial product
Using AI to turn an existing photo into a video creative: For ‘PSD Wachstumssparen’, there was already a photo creative featuring a woman on a staircase. A new photoshoot was out of the question. Our task: to create an animated key visual from the existing image for social media adverts and for screens at German railway stations.
The benefit for PSD Bank lies in cost-efficiency and speed: in a very short space of time, an existing asset was made available across multiple channels without any additional production effort.
We converted the photographic creative into a video and derived two playout formats from it: a 10-second DOOH spot in story-ad format for the Public Video screens at German railway stations and matching ad creatives with AI voice-over. Technical specifications such as exact advert length, a colour scheme compliant with the brand guidelines, and promotional text such as ‘up to 4% p.a.’ were incorporated directly into the AI workflow – without the need for a new shoot, but with trackable DOOH creatives for robust performance measurement.
AI-generated perimeter advertising for the German Basketball Bundesliga and the World Dance Championships
Up to 6,358 fans watch the home matches of the ‘Basketball Löwen Braunschweig’ at the Volkswagen Halle Braunschweig. For the new season, PSD Bank was to feature on the LED screens there, with a design that reflects the dynamic nature of the game.
The technical specifications were demanding: the hall’s LED perimeter boards are divided into several segments – ranging from 768 × 96 pixels at the sides to 1,280 × 96 pixels in the central section, plus separate ‘TV-OFF’ boards measuring 832 × 72 pixels. Each creative had to be an MP4 file lasting exactly 15 seconds and comply with the official design guidelines of the easyCredit BBL: maximum movement speed of 3.0 metres per second, no multiple flashing effects, and a limited proportion of white.
We generated the design entirely using AI, tailored to each individual display segment and in line with the BBL specifications – quickly and easily.
Result: LED display for the Basketball Löwen Braunschweig, side segment 768 × 96 px
PSD Bank is also a sponsor of the ‘WDSF World Championship Formation Standard’ in Braunschweig and wanted to use the Wachstumssparen perimeter advertising there as well – but with a dedicated motif suited to couple and formation dancing rather than basketball.
We were able to build on the established imagery, corporate design, and technical formats from the basketball campaign. This saved time on approvals, but it didn’t replace the actual concept and production work for the new motion visual.
The result ran in various formats at the VW Halle Braunschweig throughout the World Championship.
Social media reel to mark the 20th anniversary of the school competition
PSD Bank also turned to Anyland at short notice for the school competition “Your Vision – Our Action”, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026. Based on the existing promotional poster for the anniversary campaign, a social media video in 9:16 format was required, designed specifically to appeal to Gen Z and encourage them to enter the competition. Prize on offer: up to €5,000 per school project.
Thanks to AI image-to-video technology, we were able to bring the promotional poster to life within the tight deadline. In addition, a voice-over was generated using AI. In the end, 80 creative school projects were submitted.
