Higgsfield Film Festival
We entered the Higgsfield Film Festival with our short film “Il Maestro” in which an 11-year-old boy sets off alone for Mount Vesuvius after his father’s death to find a legendary golden tomato – while his rivals stay close behind.
From Character Design to Final Shot
Every character, location, and prop was first developed as a standalone reference sheet before a single shot was made – consistent details like Matteo’s mustache or Enzo’s tattoo had to stay exactly the same across dozens of shots. From these references, every scene was written as a detailed prompt – with precise camera work, lighting, timing, and dialogue – and fully AI-generated, from the first character design to the final finished shot.

Salvatore runs the pizzeria across the alley – cold, proud, and locked for years in a bitter rivalry with Enzo, one he now transfers effortlessly onto his son. With a tall chef’s toque, a dark glare, and a tomato-sauce pistol in hand, he pursues Matteo all the way up Mount Vesuvius, determined that this time, the golden prize will belong to him and his son.
Trolls
Two ancient guardians stand before the Colosseum’s gate – small, fire-headed trolls with real, flickering flame instead of hair, who’d rather argue with each other in their own invented Italian than deal with intruders. Even a ringing phone mid-argument only throws them off for a moment – in the end, Matteo has no choice but to simply slip past them.
